JUST RELEASED: JAMAICA 2022 MICS REPORT AND DATASETS

21 March 2024

MICS is pleased to announce the release of the Jamaica 2022 MICS survey findings report, statistical snapshots and datasets.

The Jamaica 2022 MICS, conducted in 2022, provides crucial insights for policymaking, programs, national sustainable development plans like Vision 2023 Jamaica, and progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals. For this survey, over 7,100 households were interviewed on a variety of topics, with a focus on issues that directly affect the lives of children and women, such as child protection, education, child health, and nutrition. Carried out as a collaborative effort between the Planning Institute of Jamaica (PIOJ), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the Statistical Institute of Jamaica (STATIN), and UNICEF under the Global MICS Programme, this marks the third time that Jamaica has implemented this survey.
