Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K) Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) was carried out in 2020-21 by Bureau of Statistics, Planning & Development Department, Government of the State of Azad Jammu and Kashmir in collaboration with UNICEF. Results of the survey were disseminated in Islamabad during a launch ceremony chaired by the Honorable Prime Minister of Pakistan Administered Kashmir, Mr. Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi.
The survey covers more than 170 indicators related to children and women and thus serves as an important source of evidence to help make informed decisions for people of AJ&K. The findings are key to monitoring AJ&K’s progress towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as the survey produces data on 33 SDG indicators.

In addition to the survey findings report, key findings report ‘At a Glance’ and statistical snapshots, AJ&K MICS mobile/web app was developed to facilitate user access to the data. The app covers all indicators reported in the survey findings report.
