Website users on mics.unicef.org until recently could only download survey datasets one by one. A newly launched functionality - Download manager - allows users to easily select multiple datasets and download them all in a single click. Whether users want to download datasets of a particular MICS round, region or country, the bulk download feature will save time and get them to their goal more efficiently.
How it works?
First, log into your MICS website account. After you are logged in, go to the Surveys page and click on the green ‘Download manager’ button.
A new window will appear:
Now you can multi-select datasets by simply ticking the MICS round or/and Region or/and Country checkboxes. After all desired checkboxes are selected, you will see how many datasets are available for downloading indicated on the blue ‘Download datasets’ button. Finally, when you click on the blue button, the download will start automatically. Each dataset will be downloaded as a separate compressed zip file.
