UNICEF’s new mobile app enables users to search and explore MICS survey findings in a few clicks

Implementing cutting-edge solutions, UNICEF supports governments in making data easily accessible from a mobile device, which contributes to a strengthened data-informed culture that leads to better decisions and actions.

UNICEF Pakistan is excited to announce the release of Sindh MICS mobile app. Designed to support the Government of Sindh in data dissemination and utilization, the app includes all indicators covered by Sindh MICS 2018-19 and reported in the Survey Findings Report (SFR). The app shows disaggregated data at the residence, education, wealth quintiles, division-wise, at the district-level and gender disaggregation, where applicable.

The mobile app’s user-friendly design allows findings to be easily compiled and analyzed. The app introduces a ‘MICS compiler’ facility, which enables users to create a customized list of MICS and Sustainable Development Goals indicators. Full information in the Survey Findings Report is available on the app as well as an overview in the ‘At a Glance’ section.

MICS surveys conducted in Pakistan typically feature a mobile app to facilitate easy access to the survey results. The Sindh MICS mobile app is now available on all platforms via WebLink feature and can be directly downloaded to an Android mobile device.
