MICS is pleased to announce the release of the Tunisia 2023 MICS statistical snapshots and datasets, as well as complementing dissemination resources.

The Tunisia 2023 MICS, conducted in 2023, provides reliable statistical estimates across various indicators on a national scale, spanning both urban and rural areas as well as Tunisia's seven regions: Greater Tunis, North East, North West, Center East, Center West, South East, and South West. These indicators offer invaluable insights crucial for policymaking, tracking progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and program development — especially for developing strategies and plans to promote the situation of mothers and children.

The MICS Tunisia 2023 was conducted by the National Institute of Statistics (INS) under the coordination of the Ministry of Economy and Planning (MEP), with technical and financial support from UNICEF, and contributions from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the German Development Bank (KfW).

In addition, a brochure and video comparing the MICS 2023 and MICS 2018 surveys were released.
