The workshop was organized by the UNICEF CEE/CIS Regional Office in collaboration with UNICEF HQ. Survey teams from Kazakhstan, Mexico, Paraguay, South Sudan and Turkmenistan were in attendance. The HQ data processing team facilitated the workshop with the support of MICS regional coordinators as well as regional data processing and household survey specialists.
Country survey teams were provided with an opportunity to enhance their knowledge on MICS data processing methodology, protocol and standards, and also to strengthen their skills in CSPro and SPSS – two software packages used by the MICS Programme. Furthermore, during the workshop, participants became familiar with the International Household Survey Network (IHSN) toolkit.
